Accommodation
Mooloolaba is one of Australia’s premier coastal holiday destinations and while there are many accommodation options available there they tend to be popular over the Christmas holiday and New Year periods and we recommend competitors get in early and secure their accommodation so as not to be disappointed.
Holiday letting in Mooloolaba is generally Saturday to Saturday and the regatta timetable aligns well with these periods. Competitors wanting to stay only for the event will move in generally on Saturday 31st December 2011 and vacate on the 7th January 2012
The sailing venue is located at the eastern end of Parkyn Parade. Any accommodation situated along Parkyn parade will be within walking distance to the sailing venue but also provide direct access to the Mooloolaba Spit and safe bathing areas and also a short walk to the restaurant strip of Mooloolaba. For competitors not familiar with Mooloolaba start looking at Parkyn Parade !!!
Most accommodation is rental apartments but houses in Mooloolaba and Minyama are also available for multiple families and larger groups.
Of course many letting agents work in Mooloolaba and therefore the best way to find your accommodation would be to have an initial look on Google maps: Map

The Organising Committee is also in discussion with the Mooloolaba Marina Co regarding on site camping and if successfully arranged details will follow in due course.
